Publisher and scope
These apps are offered under Quelshop / Quelstudio. Privacy contact: [email protected]. This policy covers the Android closed beta, browser versions and the iOS version when distributed. Features vary by platform and version. An account is not required for the current local app functions.
Cabinet records on your device
Products, barcodes, prices, remaining servings, usage entries, reminder preferences, language settings and achievements are saved locally. Your cabinet and usage records are not uploaded to a Quelshop server or sent to RevenueCat by our purchase integration. A “community added” product label does not mean a record has been sent to other users. SUPVUE is an organiser, not a medical, treatment or personalised dosage service.
Camera, barcode catalogue and reminders
Where scanning is supported, the camera is used after permission is granted and while the scanner is open. The app does not save camera images or upload them to Quelshop. Scanned codes are matched against the app’s available catalogue; an unknown item can be entered manually. Notification permission is used for optional local stock reminders on supported mobile builds. Denying these permissions does not prevent manual cabinet use. Permissions can be revoked in device/browser settings.
Google ML Kit on Android
The Android barcode scanner uses Google ML Kit. Its technical processing is separate from cabinet records: Google describes device/app information, installation identifiers, performance measurements, configuration and error/event details used for diagnostics and usage analytics, transferred over HTTPS. This is not a claim that the web or iOS version uses the same Android SDK. See the official Google ML Kit Android data disclosure below.
External links and deletion
Opening a catalogue source link visits the relevant brand’s website, whose privacy practices apply. To remove cabinet, manually entered products and usage history, confirm Settings > Delete all data on this device. Browser site data can also be cleared. Deleting local data does not erase technical records already processed by Google or records you shared elsewhere. SUPVUE is intended for adults aged 18 and over.
Current beta and mobile Pro purchases
The public beta versions do not currently offer active paid checkout. In a mobile version where Pro purchasing is enabled, Apple App Store or Google Play processes payment, and RevenueCat validates transactions, restores eligible purchases and manages Pro access. RevenueCat processes purchase history, transaction/product identifiers, purchase status, an anonymous app user identifier, store locale and currency information. This also supports purchase-related analytics in its dashboard. Our integration does not send your quiz, cabinet or expense records, full card details, name or email to RevenueCat, and does not use purchase data for advertising or cross-app tracking. Payment verification uses an internet connection even though app records remain local.
Web hosting, analytics and storage
Opening a website sends ordinary connection information, such as your IP address, requested URL, browser/network details and request time, to our hosting provider Cloudflare so it can deliver and secure the site. Our web apps also include Cloudflare Web Analytics for page-view and performance measurements. This is separate from local app records; we do not use it for advertising or cross-app profiling. Browser-local storage is used for app records and preferences. Your device/browser and independently chosen external services may process data under their own policies. Removing a home-screen shortcut does not necessarily clear browser storage. Web Pro checkout is not connected yet; this policy will identify its actual provider and verification data before it is enabled.
Support, retention and requests
If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. Do not send passwords, complete card details or unnecessary health/financial records. Correspondence is retained only as needed to handle the request and applicable obligations. For access, correction or deletion requests concerning information we hold, email the contact above. To locate purchase-related records, provide the app name and purchase/support reference if available; do not publish your receipt or identifiers. We may need reasonable proof that a request relates to your purchase. We can address our support and RevenueCat records where applicable, but deleting local app data does not automatically remove store/provider transaction records, cancel payments or delete exported/shared copies. Some transaction records may need to be retained for legal obligations.
Security and changes
Local records rely on device/browser security; these versions do not provide a separate app password or app-level encryption. “Local-first” does not mean that no network service ever processes technical or purchase information. Protect your device and backups. No system guarantees protection from unauthorised access, device loss or data loss. We review this policy and store disclosures when data practices change. The date above identifies this policy revision.
